Dr. Jose Natalio Redondo

After an extensive healthcare profession with over 20 years of experience in hospital practice and working as a clinical cardiologist in the development of health institutions in high concentration of tourists areas throughout the Dominican Republic, Jose Natalio Redondo, founded the National Network of Health Services, Grupo Rescue, in the early 2000s. Together with his brother Dr. William Redondo, Orthopedic Surgeon, other close relatives and associates doctors such as Juan B. Correa, Ramon Mota, Luis Pena Marcano and Juan Manuel Canela formed the first medical network in the country with international standards, Grupo Rescue.

He remained C.E.O. and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the network. Currently occupies the Presidency, responsible for the direction and development of new projects.

Dr. Redondo is native from Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic coming from a well-known family with a long history of health care professionals, where he learned the compassion to care for others and worked in the welfare of the community. He has transmitted these values to those who have the opportunity to work around him.

He graduated with honors as Doctor in Medicine at the PUCMM, and Cardiology at the National Institute of Cardiology Ignacio Chavez in Mexico. Dr. Redondo also performed a graduate degree in Cardiovascular Intensive Care and Doppler echocardiography. For many years, he served as the Head of Service and Teaching of Medicine and Cardiology at the Ricardo Limardo Hospital as well as Centro Médico Bournigal.

In addition, Dr. Redondo has an extensive history of active participation in business, banking, and national development. He has been actively involved in social matters, cultural and the development of local sports in the community.

His wife, Lenina Redondo Abreu, who has been an important support in each and every aspect in the development of the healthcare network as well as taking a leading role in families matters. They have five children, who now undertake as professionals in healthcare services and are proud grandparents to three grandchildren.
